in retrospect, yes, very much so.
Was in Holland for 6 years, great co-workers, but the company itself was turning sour more and more each year... new manager who did everything to demotivate me... But i stayed because i had great coworkers and friends, and leaving a decent paycheck, to move back to Belgium and then find a job just never felt comfortable...
But ultimately i got close to a complete burn out, manager kept pushin my buttons, couple of blow ups and got fired with a decent package, which payed for my repatriation(and cleared much of my debt), got a good job pays better + company car, bought my house, with double garage, all that's missing now is a Porsche in it. But i'm working on that, it's on the top of my list
