Sorry to hear of your blisters. As with anything the right equipment, in this case clothing, makes all the difference. I would suspect your shoes and sock combo or just the shoes alone as the culprit for your blisters. The chonies were $ well spent if you went 60 miles over 3 days and experienced no rash. I recently (5 months ago) took up running and finished my 1st 1/2 marathon earlier this month. I can tell you I went thru several shoes before I found the right ones that worked for me. The socks I use are super thin, dry fit and for me are the only sock I will run in. Thorlo's for me are to thick and cause me problems. Some people swear by them. UA running shorts work best for me after trying several brands. I get them at Sports A with the 25% or 35% coupons and when they are on sale. Again, what works for you. I am sure your boots for hunting are top notch and perform to your expectations and worth what ever you paid.
