Thanks for the invite Dean. My wife and I plan to travel a lot in the coming years and I would love very much a chance to meet you again, ride, and talk about the way it was and the new things that continue to build our collective two wheel sport. I have been to Show Low and the whole area there is beautiful and great for open road riding. I think we met in 1978 when I was out to San Jose on a tricked out R100S. Chris had just started working and the program you helped found had begun. I was taken back into the shop to see some of the early twins that San Jose had started to modify.

We are almost the same age...........you being only slightly older. Why do we still ride like we do? Is there any way to give it up gracefully? No? I didn't think so. Thanks for the positive comments on this wonderful new BMW RR. It will not replace our love and allegiance for the twin...........but it will surely add new chapters in the performance books.
