3.6l tanslpant fuel line adaption

I am in the process of putting a 1992 964 3.6l motor in my 1981 SC. I have read a few threads on what people have done to modify and adapt the fuel lines, but I didn't find any real good how-to's.

With help via pictures, explanation, and diagrams from those that have already accomplished this I will start and finish a how to right here!

I have access to a machine shop w/ cnc so making a fancy fitting or adapter wouldn't be that big of a deal, especially if there are others interested in the adapter.

How did you do it? and how could it be done better?

I have the fuel filter and a hard line from the 964 motor to possibly use as parts.
