I was on AdultFriendFinder for a month and got that kind of West African story. Never made it far enough to get the request for money. Odd that it was brought up so quickly in your email. There's a cottage industry in Ghana where the locals sit in a boiler room and work this scam. The smart ones choose a specific town near Atlanta (or other large town) as their stateside "home". I never heard back when I asked them to send me a pic with them holding today's newspaper (ala' Lee Harvey Oswald).

BTW, AFF has a bunch of broke-ass chicks that can't or wont pony up $19.95 to join and they can't respond to emails. Then they set the bar so unrealistically high I usually emailed them about it and just ended up arguing with them. That being said, I did meet one good gal on there so it was worth it. I was (as always) just looking for skanks, but it's ok to meet a nice girl, as well.
