Interesting. I know for sure that the car was given a salvage title in 1984 with 13,000 miles on it. It was given a rebuilt title in Illinois. The door pillar has an illinois state police plate riveted into place with the WPOA.... VIN. This is the same VIN on the title. Looking in the trunk there is a stamped number to the top left of the spare tire. I looked further and there is a number stamped directly to the left of the tire, but I can't make it out.
