That is incredible. You have to earn $10,000 per year just to pay your residential electricity bill.
We took up the elec. co. on their offer to put on a switch on our AC where they can cut it off remotely during peak periods. Our bill went down after that. We rarely use our AC anyways, and the times we have, it has never been cut off. Maybe try that?
You must be in some kind of major "overuse" penalty or something.
