No effective treatment for psychopathy... I'd urge people to read the wiki for it... it's very interesting and might change your outlook a little bit. I'm not sure I'd call the boy 'evil' any more than I'd call a person with a mental handicap "stupid."

Dexter and seeing where the writers "slip" and give Dexter emotion for dramatic effect.
Of course, whether or not the boy really is psychopathic remains to be seen....
