what a day. cold and raining. long day for 5 1 minute runs. oh, i finished first for novice. i got some good advice before. a friend that does very well did a one on one walk through then i did 2 more walk throughs with the pro's as a group.
my first run i did very slow adn just wanted to stay on course. charlie, my friend, was very impressed with my time. i was just getting a little understeer the first run. my second run i went faster, more understeer. charlie road with me the 3rd run and i missed a cone and had a dnf. but over all he said i was doing very good. he felt i should have been going faster in this long 270 sweeper. my forth run was another dnf, dont know what i missed. my last one was my fastest, but the coures was drying in some places so that made a difference.
you can go here to see the results. the 2 fast cars were a MR2 and an old rabbit. they were pro's and they were gettin it.
its a long day for such short seat time. i may do the one next month, if it is dry, and then may start doing track days.
