I'm that age and I can damn sure tell the difference...having said that, I drink the cheap stuff almost exclusively. That's why it would be nice to get the expensive stuff as a gift.
I'm very confident that the only gift I will get from anyone is cash as I don't really need any new stuff. What I do need is to pay for my winter break trip to Aspen and my spring break trip to Jackson Hole. Since both of those things cost way more than anyone would give me, I will get money to defray some of the costs.
