Just finished this repair myself. To answer last post, yes, that one gear will likely be the only one bad and it runs both odometer and trip meter. Very straight forward but a magnifying glass would help counting the teeth. And it's the small teeth you most need to count, not the larger ones that will be broken.

And yes, odometergears.com is still in busines.

I'm all back together and my odometer works great. ***** now is that my speedometer is now broken. It did nothing until I got to about 35 and slowly went up to about 30. By the time I got to 45 it was just below 40 and did not go higher. It also is still sitting at about 40.

Any thoughts?
