For any machinist it would be boring as heck but for a computer geek like me it was very interesting. I have fabricated many tools or patches in my garage over the years. Nothing I did was even close to what this guy does. He had a set of 911 heads that he had just finished rebuilding. He will start assembly of the engine next weekend after a more cleaning. He invited me over to watch the engine assembly. I should be at home putting the front suspension back together on my 911 but I may have to "help" him assemble a 911 engine. I will ask him if he minds me taking a few photos.
OOOO Can I come? Sounds like Hella more fun than working on the turbo... Which I will continue to do... Can never have to many brownie points with the guy that runs autocross...
