I always ride wide open or full brake so I wouldn't have felt it.
Seriously, my bike doesn't do that at all. As I do a lot of riding on track I definitely would have noticed
any lag or jerkiness when gradually opening the throttle.
If it's apparently noticeable it should be fixed under warranty.
