I did not mean to come across as black and white as you portray me, 10,000rpm is no magic cut of point nor is 150hp. My point has always been that good power lower in the rpm range is more useful to most people most of the time than super high hp delivered at super high rpm, nothing more nothing less

As for the S1RR dyno chart numbers well we will have to wait and see, however its very unlikely the curves will be significantly different to the ones already presented. Curves for other bikes seem pretty consistent, only the exact numbers change. Getting an engine to deliver significantly more top end power without sacrificing low to mid range performance is almost impossible.
Anyway, as we all know numbers alone don’t make the bike.
