Lets face it, how many people can use or should use more than 150hp on the street. The top end power advantage of the S1RR is really not relevant for road riding and of the I4’s the Honda and Suzuki seem to have the most useful power spread, so much for the S1RR being a better street bike.
Silly high top end hp numbers are more about bragging rights than practical performance.
This is exactly why most of us on this board own or have owned an R1100S or R1200S. We understand the difference in useful power and stupid power. I really don't need any more power than my R1200S has. That said, I can't wait till my S1000RR is delivered.

And I bet on 98% of the roads my R1200S is just as fast as a Duc 1198 which will be just as fast as a S1000RR. As long as we all have a good time, it's all the same to me.
