We spoke to other folks in the neighborhood and nobody knew so I don't feel so bad anymore. We can laugh now as the way his wife put it was so dead(sorry)pan and matter-of-fact it caught meoff guard as to maybe she was joking. Guess not.

I know that he lived a full life and visited every state in the union over the years.

They went to Alaska a couple of years ago in a motorhome. He said the last time he was there was on his way to Vietnam and they didn't let him enjoy the sights.
