Essentially, the HOA subcontracted out the parking to a 3rd party who ran the parking like they were under Hitler's rule, and IIRC, they were doing some shady stuff too. The guy's car got booted, so he jacked it up, put it on 4 dollies, and rolled the car, complete with boot into his garage. The cops were called, but couldn't do anything (and seemed to somewhat be siding with the guy). WHen I finally stopped watching/reading, it wasn't quite over, but it looked good for the guy whose car got booted.

He called the tow company and told them to come get their boots. When they showed they demanded money and he said no. The cops could not do anything about it since he was not denying them access to their property.
