Oil pressure guage drops a notch when lights are turned on.

Help! I need some ideas on this one.

The simplest manifestation of this problem is the oil pressure guage drops about 0.5 bar when I turn the parking lights on. It also drops if I turn the blower on full blast, cooling fans come on, stuff like that, but not really much more than 0.5 bar combined. The engine also usually idles a little rough when the cooling fans come on. Both grounds on the bellhousing and the main chassis ground have been cleaned and that doesn't help. I just now cleaned the two side by side ground points behind the dash over the fuse blocks (the major PITA ones to get to) and that didn't help either. The battery is brand new a month ago and that didn't make any difference.

Are there any other grounding points hiding in the dash that might cause this problem? I'm thinking the next step is to just replace the battery cables and upgrade the alternator wire to the next guage up. I'm also looking at the 3 primary wires that must feed the fuse block and thinking to just junk the ring terminals and clamp the wires directly into the battery clamp along with the starter wire, or at least replace them with soldered ones.

Any thoughts?
