Patrick, props to you for going back after it! Nice work on the grades too!

I've been thinking about going back myself. As I look back on my college education, I really feel like the time was *nearly* wasted, and I ended up paying for a piece of paper. To an extent I totally agree that 18 year olds should take some time off and get a job or two that they hate, but I bet many would have some trouble going back, or getting accepted. Much of what I learned at school, I needed to learn at the time... ie. how to fend for myself, how to deal with room mates etc etc etc. So to some extent college at 18 isn't completely a bad deal, even if you have to go back later to right some wrongs.

Any luck finding any grants, or federal money floating around. I sent an e-mail to OSU recently, but never heard anything back. If I had a part time job lined up, or knew I had some grants I'd be there next semester!!
