Debug it one step at a time.
As I read the above, error messages are out, but the heater does not turn off? You should be able to hear or feel the relay click. If not, the relay is stuck, or not getting the signal to change.
Is this correct? If it was the trace & solder, I would think it would not conduct and would not heat up in the first place.
