A bridge made in China from recycled steel.

When was the last time you had anything "Made in China" that was not throwaway, cheap junk. Am sooooooo glad I do not commute on that road anymore.

My bet is that the rest of the 1930-ish structure long outlives the 'new' part, made in China.

Do I remember the original bid and award now having gone 11 times over budget? Not 11 occaisions, but 11x original bid?

It's what we have succumbed to as a country.
