Thanks for the recommends, I just finished reading it. What a great book. IMO it is worlds better than No Country for Old Men (which was good, too, but The Road is a whole new level). Like most books, I had to go back and really read and think about many of the sections to try to fully understand them. There are a lot of key sentences and paragraphs that if you miss, you miss a lot. In the many ways crappy world that we live in these days, it's lifting to enjoy an inspired work of art, and accomplishment and excellence.
It seems like a lot would get lost in making it into a movie. The book is in many ways a 250 page poem. I'd imagine the movie has a narrator? That would seem necessary.
