Garage
My vehicle is a 2003 996 Cab

I had coolant leaking (dripping) on the left side of the motor when the oil-air separator failed, 51,000 miles.

I replaced the coolant expansion tank and several coolant hoses during this repair while the engine was lowered.

Part cost $114.56
Total labor for all the repairs 5.5 hours (oil/air separator, coolant expansion tank, hoses and diagnostic).

My suggestion, if the engine and tranny are out replace the parts and hoses, if not leave it alone. It is never just replacing a single part.

Good luck.
