I just checked the it...

Battery with car off = 12.47 volts at the battery in the trunk and from the passenger side ' + ' terminal and multimeter touching a ground to the chassis.
Battery with car started = 11.89 volts at the battery in the trunk and from the passenger side ' + ' terminal and multimeter touching a ground to the chassis.

Power getting to the '+' on the Alternator with car off = 12.45 volts

Power from of the Alternator's negative with car running = 1.43 volts (multimeter touching the negative wire and multimeter touching a ground from the chassis)

So is it that this Alternator is not sending a charge.? I also check the 'charging' fuse #33 in my fuse box and its ok. Checked to be sure that the fuses are getting a good ground.

Or is it my battery..? If the alternator is only pushing out 1.43 volts to the negative side out of the alternator... or did I read it, or do the test incorrectly..??

Dave..
