Your statement about your heart not being into it, was probably a tough decision knowing how hard it is to get an acceptance to any academy. Congrats and thanks for the info.

It is also
possible to graduate from a certain academy and serve in another service. In example: I flew in the USMC with pilots who graduated from the USAFA and then joined the USMC. I've served with Army officers that graduated from USCGA. Just to add to the confusion.........................
