Calling Dr. Phil...

I haven't been around here too long, and I don't have a degree in psychology, but this is an interesting situation--how a fear of commitment affects the ability to fulfill one's desires. I took the time to read through 100+ of Nostatic's posts and he would make an interesting subject for the upcoming Dr. Phil book (all in fun here, nostatic--hell, I'll probably take a ribbing for even knowing that Dr. Phil is writing a new book).

Buyer's remorse is common after a large ticket item purchase, but how do you feel now about your decision *not* to purchase that SC. Feel good about the decision? You mentioned "should have probably bought" in one of your posts, and that likely means you feel some regret. Now you mention upping your budget, when you cite budget as a reason for not purchasing. I think you like the thrill of the hunt, but the kill scares you. Maybe you're using the hunt to avoid other areas in your life. Maybe you need "uncertainty" in your life because you don't know what to do with serenity (owning a Porsche). Maybe you like the attention that the hunt brings to you in the form of interesting posts on this board. I dunno, but there is probably something deeper going on with Nostatic.
