Damn, if I would ever buy a car from SoCal, what with the everchanging weather conditions and the salted highways. Probably better off looking for something back east where the weather is the same year round. Plus, there is a greater populous of Porsche owners on the east coast, what with all the great driving roads in, say Maryland or Delaware.
Apparently, not only do they salt the roads on the east coast, they do something to the water. 930Chas, my hats off to your sarcasm
Although I must say, there is truth in what Nostatic says; California get driven! When I was 911 shopping I thought I would be going to Cali for sure. But even with emailed pict's of "low milage" CA cars I could tell these cars were DRIVEN. . . .and odometer roll-back is just a popular past time there.
On the other hand, if you find one from an region where there is snow on the ground half the year it makes it a bit easier to believe the milage on a 20y/o car.
