Easy one. I had this decision in November when my Sony tabletop projection LCD had a top right color issue that was not worth fixing. The 240 is so smooth in sports and even changes old films. I watched old films, e.g. Coming to America, and it almost looks 3D. Same with Rocky, etc....
I have heard mixed review about 120 hz, but 240 is awesome.
YOU know the 240 is worth it. If you have the money, just drop it and enjoy...
I got a top of the line Sony XBR9 240 hz and love it! Samsung makes a similar one and is just as nice.
