Shots
I was at the Dr yesterday for a check up and they decided I need to up date some shots. I hadn't had a Tetanus for over ten years when I got bit by a wild dog in Central America so I said ok, they wanted to give me the H1N1 but I said no, they tried but I said no. Then they wanted to give me a Pneumonia inoculation, I hadn't heard of these but they said it would be good for me. I resisted but the cute little nurse kept saying it would be good for me. I had no problem with the Tetanus but the Pneumonia shot kicked my but, I didn't sleep at all my arm hurt so much, it still hurts today. I feel like I have a hangover but didn't drink anything. No swelling or redness but it hurt worse than when I got Gamma Globulin shots in the but, they used to take them right out of the refrigerator and shoot 10cc in your but. Big lump there for a while. I don't know anyone with Pneumonia and am not getting another shot, I will take my chances. I don't think they give out the GG shots anymore for travel and that's a good thing.
