Ohboyoboy! Another chance to post a pic of my Shuns!
Thanks to the great input from jyl, nostatic, et al, I went overboard and...well, let's just say, considering that I'm a rank beginner cook and a lousy pool shooter, buying these knives made as much sense as buying a thousand dollar pool cue.

But...they're works of art and heirlooms that I'll pass on - hopefully to relatives that are better cooks than I am!
