I have owned a nice solid 72 911T European Targa for a few years.
It was painted Seal Grey by a previous owner, as he did not like the original Signal Yellow color.
I want to sell it, but having no success. I have almost $20k in it now (rebuilt motor, brakes, etc). The NADA Classic book gives it a low of $22k up to a high of $34k.
Is it worthwhile spending $8000 to $10000 on a strip & repaint back to the original vibrant Signal Yellow color?
The basic chassis is in exceptional condition but showing signs of needing a front pan in a few years.
Do I take my lumps & just sell it at a loss?
