If someone were to buy this for $5k, what would it cost to make it a daily driver?
A lot more than you can buy a 911SC daily driver for in today's market.
Say the buyer of your SC roller got really lucky and found a good motor & trans for $6k. Add minimum labor costs & misc brakes/shocks/incidentals and its another $2.5k just to make it run down the road safely.
This is $13.5k for a daily driver, not a showpiece or garage queen.
What if he is not so lucky and the bit & pieces he buys aren't as represented? He or she is screwed.
The only advantage I can see is doing this as funds are available over time.
Unless you enjoy the process as I do. I have so many of these projects in the works I cannot keep track of the parts I have bought for half of them.
But, I am having fun.
Anyone WTB a 94 Black Speedster recovered theft needing everything?
