It's not supposed to chip, peel, etc. Its epoxy hardened or some *****. I have a kel tec that was done and it has held up incredibly. Instructions say 24 hours to re assembly and light usage with full cure in 3 weeks. Its sold by lauer custom weaponry, but I think duracoat.com is the website.
