Hi PPOT

I am trying to install my ms office on work PC but the cd does not want to read and the install will not proceed. I cannot even browse the CD without it hanging and going into not responding mode.

I tried the CD in my laptop and it seems fine, which leads me to believe it is the hardware on the work PC that is letting me down.

Was thinking about buying a USB writer and installing from there but wondered if I can hook the laptop up with a LAN or even to the router and set it to share mode and install office on the work pc from the laptop. Is this possible with relative ease or is another drive a better plan?
