The RAID device I've purchased is a small form factor, and uses 2 SATA notebook drives. The RAID box was $19 and is USB.

I have a Buffalo Linkstation, which we're presently using as our file server for the business. I do not like the idea that this drive can go down and we lose our business data. I have it backed up on a daily basis, but that isn't the same.

I can keep using the internal hard drive for PC backups. But I want a RAID array for the business data. I would really prefer to buy one of these, but I would prefer not to spend $500-600 right now.
