In my area, we have some sort of activity once or twice a month. In addition, we get together for breakfast at a local restaurant every Saturday morning. I have a lot of good friends that I've met through the club and the Saturday breakfasts are a lot of fun.

I'd suggest you particpate for a year and then re-evaluate the question.

I have been a member of PCA for most of my life. We have several club events each month. I have a LOT of friends in the club that I would have never known without PCA. I can't think of a better group of people. We have charity events and give away thousands of dollars to charities each year.

We have a autocross each month, all year. We have a breakfast each month.

The club is what YOU make of it. If you don't go to the events that is not the club's fault, it is you. If the club has events that don't interest you get involved, suggest an event and volunteer to run the event. Attend the meetings and you will meet some great folks.
