For the life of me i don't understand Corvette haters.

I would take any 60s era vette over any 60's 911. While they were underpowered, the 70's "Mako Shark" Vette's are absolutely gorgeous machines.

The 80s vettes were ugly, i never liked them, but once they put the LT-1's into them around 94 and up, they were damned competitive with anything around for a heck of a lot less money.

The C-5s and up are very pretty cars. I don't really like the "Viper" lights on the latest Vettes, but that's my only complaint with them.

As far as image, anyone that is buying their car because of what others think of them has self-esteem issues. Just because Italians like to drive Vette's, it is not a valid knock on the car.

Really it amuses me that some would be dissuaded from a Vette because of it's "image".....afterall, Porsche owners are largely held to be totally arrogant stuck up jerks.

JOKE:

"What's the difference betwen a porsche and a porcupine. On a porcupine, the pricks are on the outside."

Good stuff sniper!
It's not POS, it's just old. 944's, 911's, 928's, they all age, they all have interior parts that fall apart, they all get squeaks, they all get electrical gremlins, and 911's are flat out known for leaks and rust.

To say that a Porsche holds up long term better than a Vette with equal maintenance is just plain not correct.

But hey, thanks! I do try to be entertaining when i go on my little tirades!
