I've been searching around to try to find pictures of this process, but no luck.

When I disassembled the oil cooler on my 1984 944, The spring and black plastic plug just fell out. I picked up a seal kit for it and have no problem understanding the seals and spacing, but how does this valve work? Tricks to installing it? Link to write up?
