Sounds like the OPRV, since it's the only thing that should have a spring. An 84 motor would normally have the old 3 piece OPRV in John_AZ's last picture. The link posted above has pretty much all the info you'll need. All 5 of the valves in your picture are late style valves and cannot be used in the 84 block. The block should have a metal sleeve partially protruding from the oil cooler housing area that the piston of the 3 piece valve slides in. The retrofit 1 piece part is designed to fit into the sleeve. The sleeve is removable for replacement if it is worn I believe. Use the alignment tool for reassembly or you will most likely have problems with oil pressure. Install the OPRV only after the cooler housing is fully assembled, installed, and aligned.
