There was a ZR-1 at the last DE I was at - one of the ex rally drivers was driving it. It was so friggin fast. he had bruises on his knees from bracing himself inside the car (the seats sucked) when he came in the tires were rounded from kissing the fender wells, and the transmission tunnel was so hot that the cheap ass cheby carpeting was melting the glue and it was pulling away. It looked like crap. Still - it was so friggin fast. I would have loved to take a few laps.

Actually I could care less about the brand. I do like the fact that you can drive the piss out of a Porsche - and it runs better afterwards - not many cars around that you can say that with.

The ZR1 and the Z06 are ALOT of car for the money. They have a passion about keeping the weight off their vehicles - and they build them for function first. (sound familiar?)

I think it's great that Excellence did an article and announced the ZR1 fro what it is. Makes them 100% more credible in my book.
