Ok. I saw the metal tube sticking out of the block but the only thing that came out was the spring. Should there be a metal cylinder too? Could it have just stayed in there?
Is (A) the metal cylinder that normally stays in the block? or is this a part that would slide inside that metal tube?
Now, is (B) this spring missing something? Mine had a rubber/plastic tapered plunger on the end. I take it this goes into the block first, then the spring behind it?
And is (C) normally a hex bolt rather than a normal bolt? I ask because mine seems pretty damn seized...
