I just got a set of factory oil cooler lines that I need to install on my 1975 to hook up to an external cooler. Of course my car has a C2 Turbo conversion and the side rockers are glued-in and not factory (see picture). Since I didn't think of the issues before putting them on (duh!!)..now I'm facing this problem. I have to run the 2 long lines under the rockers and don't know what to do, if I cut the bottom of the rockers, it will be really hard to re-attach the fiberglass pieces. If i take off the entire rocker, I will have to have it glued in and repainted...right after getting the car back from the body shop!! What other options do I have and has anyone ever ran into a similar problem? Any suggestions? How about using just racing braided oil lines and shove them under the rocker, would that work? Also can anyone take a few pics of the their lines under the car and post them? I'm trying to figure out where the exact location for the clamps are, and a few nice pictures would really help me!
Thanks!
