The lonely HP2S on the sales floor next to the S1000RR is begging for a new owner, but will that new owner ever show up. Yes, the HP2s has all the high end "bling"; however, the price point on the S1000RR fully tricked out comes in well below the MSRP for the HP2S. Sure, the S1KRR doesn't sport the cf, adjustable rearsets, Ohlins suspension and cnc billet finishing touches; but, the massive hp and the ability to add panniers and the other superbike stuff gives it more appeal to the long distance sport rider IMO. Will, BMW relegate the boxer to the GS/RT market and move fully into the high output water cooled sport world? Is the sport boxer his-toe-ree?
