I'm thinking of re-joining the ranks of Porsche owners, and my favorites have always been the early short-wheelbase cars. Checking the market, cars seem all over the place in terms of condition. What should I expect to get in a 1966-1968 911 for $15-$20k, non-S? Just looking for a presentable driver - decent paint, solid floors, running engine, though if I could get a piece of art work from Freddie Hernandez in that price range, I'd be thrilled.
