Wow! Closest I came to that was having a painting exhibited in an invitational at the Cheltenham Arte Centre years ago (know nothing about the place - they invited me across 3000 miles and I sent them a painting to hang).

Out of high school my 2 career choices i was deciding on were 1) Art- i was accepted at Tyler art school in Philadelphia,

Aw gee, gosh, shucks...well, since you ask (blush), BFA and MFA (Univ. of CA - they own one of my works)), membership and exhibitions in numerous galleries and museums in SoCal over the years - Long Beach Museum of Art, San Diego Fine arts gallery, to mention two (both juried exhibitions).

What's valuable often has absolutely nothing to do with the skill of the artist. It's got to do with a bunch of stuffed shirts who decide years after the artist's death that he was in some way trendy or ground breaking.

Most modern art is pure trash. Pollack is definitely in that category.

WHOA, Snipey a lil' bit bitter awright! And woefully uneducated to boot when it comes to art.

But ENOUGH of this waste of bandwidth!
