I go through cycles. Sometimes I read a lot, sometimes not as much. It somewhat dependent upon what the wife is doing. She generally reads more than I do.

I read books fiction and non-fiction (currently reading an astronomy text book that I bought at "Half Price Books" for $7), magazine articles, and information/non-fiction stuff on the Internet. Sometimes it'll take me weeks to read a book, sometimes I know it out over a few days. I guess it depends upon how much free time I have and how much I get into the book. I've read a book in a day a few times, but I don't normally have the time to do that.

I read fairly fast, but not as fast as my wife, or s_morrison.
