K&N is a great manufacturer of intake products. Their filters alone are a performancee upgrade.
When lowering the car you are normally best off to change the shocks also since if you keep using the stock shocks you just took a couple inches of compression off them so you are closer to bottoming out. There are pre sert up kits of shocks and springs for lowering.
All the exhaust options I have seen don't come close to what Akrapovic could so for the 996 but they are sticking to only the 997.
