I've been matching wits with him for so long today that I'd hate to stoop to conventional methods. I have seen him several times but people are still asking me if I am certain that I saw him . . . I'm not quite sure how to take that.

My wife decided to go to bed early so opening the garage and launching the rat might wake her up in an unhappy mood. She wasn't really all that happy when she went upstairs, anyway, having been alone for the afternoon while I stood silently in the middle of the garage waiting for the bastard to show his head.
