The Sportomagic pump will work great as a trans cooler. Remember to regulate the pressure downward as that pump operates way too high for cooling purposes.
The best way to run the Sporto pump is to remove the flange, drill two 6 mm holes 10 mm off center and install two 6 mm allen screws. The allen screws will engage the pin on the pump. This requires no additional bracket, you just bolt the pump to the cam tower with 3 long 6 mm bolts. Don't forget to drill oil return holes in the cam bearing journal to allow oil pressure from the journal to return into the engine instead of pressurizing the pump.
