there is nothing to understand. there is no "there" there. it's all projection on the part of the viewer.

people who are capable of thinking for themselves long ago walked away from the modernist movement. what's left are followers, tools, and people who make money taking advantage of followers and tools.

The modernist movment - . If you did, even just a little, reading, you might become aware of how silly and parochial your views are...then again, I dunno.
